Today was very different the birthday that I had last year - playing at Winston Cup with Ozone and then heading to the Thirsty Beaver. I guess that's what happens as you grow and change. That's life. Today I got up and went to Dunkin Donuts for coffee and donuts. When I got back to the house, my roommates and I headed out for blueberry picking in Harvard at Carlson Farms. We got super lucky - it was a beautiful day for picking, not too hot. We started out with blueberries and raspberries, and then moved on to peaches and nectarines. We ended up with over 16 pounds of fruit for 3/4 people (Shelly wasn't there, but will probably help us eat it all when she gets back in town). I'm super excited about all of the fresh fruit that I am going to eat this week.
After the fruit picking, I got a nap and ran to the grocery store. Now I'm relaxing on the couch with a sprtizer (white wine, lemonade, sprite), and my roommates have made a blueberry crumble that smells like heaven. I can't wait to see Greg and then the day will be complete.
