"I don't if it's my turn, but I'm going to go anyway."

Tonight I was working out at Brandeis, a college near Greg's house. On my way back to my place, I decided to try a new route. It was going ok but then I had to make a choice which way to go and ended up winding my way through Harvard Square on some street I had never heard of. Fortunately I was on the phone with Jen and she helped guide me to Massachusetts Avenue (everything runs off of Mass Ave, and that's also the way that I get to my place from Greg's so I can get where I'm going if I can find Mass Ave).

I also uttered the words above tonight while driving, which I feel like I have said more in the past 3 days than I have in my life. Drivers are WAY more aggressive - if the light turns yellow, that means "as many people as possible should go fast and make it through this light." It's not surprising to see 5 - 10 cars go through after the light turns red (although it still surprises me). Also, you had better be paying attention at stop signs because they WILL skip you!

Shockingly enough, I want to get a bike to ride around this crazy town. But the weather is really nice during the day and lots of people are out riding (although they're probably going somewhere, like work ;), so I have gotten the bug. I went to REI today in Framingham and test rode some bikes there. Not sure whether to buy there or one of the multiple shops in town. I like being able to research things online though, which is obviously easier on REI.com. But I also want to support the local shops (and have a place to go for questions, tune ups, etc).

So this has been my life for the past few days - getting around with all of the crazy drivers and thinking about bikes. Oh, and boxes. Lots of them.
