Next Wednesday Greg and I are headed to Germany and the Netherlands. We're spending the first weekend in Duisburg with a friend of Greg's for his birthday (Deb, we are hanging out with Christoph, your guide when you guys were there for Worlds in 2005), then we are headed to an island off the coast of the Netherlands (Texel for those of you who are following along at home) for a few days of relaxing and biking and eating (well, those are my plans...). After a few days on the island, we are meeting Christoph and his wife in Amsterdam for a few days and then we are flying out of Dusseldorf on the following Monday.

Should be a great vacation (although I'm not sure that I really need a vacation from my stressful life of hanging out at home looking for jobs, but it will be nice to get away for a while). Plus, I realized the last time I traveled out of the country was for Worlds in 2006 - it's been way too long. :)
